The Goal

Our customer had a facility flood and the machine had severe water damage. We did a complete mechanical rebuild of the entire machine and we upgraded X-axis with a dual pinion drive system for greater machine accuracy.  We also integrated a new Fanuc CNC controls system, new servo & spindle motors, drives and complete rewire.  All CNC retrofits include a full documentation package, laser comp (linear & Rotary) and operator & maintenance training.

  • Giddings & Lewis 5” horizontal boring mill remanufacture
  • Complete Fanuc 0i-TD CNC Retrofit
