Our Customer came to us with a machine that was completely worn out.  They wanted a new Fanuc control system and a complete mechanical rebuild.  The goal was to provide a solution at 50% - 60% of the cost of a new machine.  We were able to provide a solution that met their cost goal and provide a machine that was in like new condition with a 1 year warranty.

Scope of Work

  • Fanuc Retrofit with 0i-TD Control system
  • New Fanuc servo motors and drives
  • New DC spindle drive
  • Complete machine rewire
  • X & Z-Axis ways ground
  • Saddle, cross slide & gibs scraped and re-fit
  • Rebuild X & Z-Axis ballscrews and new thrust bearings
  • Rebuild of transmission and recondition of main spindle bearings
  • Rebuild of turret assembly
  • Rebuild of lube system
